Ladies and Gentlemen,
It has been a strange and wonderful adventure thus far in the Dirty Bourbon River Show! So much has happened and there is so little space and time with which to explain it all.
When we last left off, our heroes had just flown across the world for what would be a most victorious trip overseas. The band, trimmed down to just a 4piece, performed in some of the coolest and most absolu
tely beautiful places that the Swiss region had to offer. To quote Bill Murray, “We came, we saw, and we kicked it’s ass!” But seriously folks, it was an amazing feeling to not only be so well received but to also be so well taken care of. We truly couldn’t have done it all without the help of some very special people out there – you know who you are! Each night we were surrounded by good vibes with delicious food in our bellies and comfortable beds to rest our weary heads! Needless to say, we’re already working on return plans for next year!! Stay tuned!
Now that we are back home though folks, it is time to move forward and embrace the many changes that life brings. With that we must say farewell to one friend and welcome another. Our recent guest vocalist and dance machine Ms. Sandra Love will be stepping off the Dirty Bourbon train and a one Mr. Nick Garrison will climbing aboard. Nick is a tremendous trombonist and really just an all around cool dude. We enjoy his playing and his company and are sure you will too. As for Ms Love, well first we want to express how grateful we are for all the good times and the great times! She’ll be dancing and singing herself crazy down here in New Orleans. If you come visit, maybe look her up!

Lots more in fact, for we have a BIG SUMMER TOUR in the works! A summer filled with two months of nonstop Dirty Bourbon music and revelry! Big festivals, bacon festivals, and more and more club dates being booked everyday! Yes folks we’ve got a BIG SUMMER TOUR planned that’ll take us back to familiar territory and unfamiliar too! North Carolina, Colorado, Michigan, and Wyoming to name a few! We’ve already posted some of our dates so check the calendar and start spreading the word!!

Well he sent me the video a few days ago, and damn it might be on the same level of cool with Freddy Jackson sippin a milkshake in a snow storm (for all my Outkast fans)

Don’t be deterred by the fact that it ain’t quite Friday, friends, as we’re looking at a real foot-stompin’ party tonight. Kentucky Ale will be joining us with some swag and tasty bourbon beer, there’ll be amazing food and music all night, and here’s the kicker… admission is FREE! Show kicks off at 8pm.

Esperanza Spalding: Composer, upright and electric bassist, vocalist, perfection.
Words cannot come close to describing how remarkable this woman is. Esperanza was a child prodigy who started her career playing violin with a chamber symphony at the age of 5. A self taught upright and electric bass player with a hauntingly beautiful voice, she became the youngest ever professor at Berkeley. She is such a badass, in 2009 Barack Obama asked for her by name to play for his Nobel Peace Prize concert, and in 2011 won a Grammy for best new artist by beating Justin Bieber so hard, he cried. What is not to love about this woman? And if being a phenomenal, technically proficient, versatile musician somehow wasn’t enough, her beauty is absolutely breathtaking.
