There are some people that make the world worse. There are some who leave it unchanged. There are some who make it better….
And then there are those very few who set exceed all expectations and set the example for kindness and change. Cheryl Ash is one of those people.
This weekend she hosted us at Watermelon Park Festival in Berryville, and then again at the Cajun Experience in Leesburg. She fed us, housed us at the Barns of Rosehill, hooked us up with awesome gigs – went well beyond what is neccesary for a artist of our budding stature…
And she did it because she believes in the arts. She believes in making the artist feel comfortable and at home when they are so far away from where they come from. It can be a very weary, tired world out there for us sometimes, and it is because of people like Cheryl that we can perform with renewed vigor and energy everynight.
Thank you Cheryl Ash. You set the standard. We’ll have a special table for you waiting upstairs in the balcony at the Maison in New Orleans on Halloween. Until then…
