0 New Dirty Bourbon Album + NYE Show
It is time for yet another chapter in the rich and ever-transforming history of the Dirty Bourbon River Show. On December 31st, 2013 we will be releasing our 8th studio album – “Accordion Anthology” – via digital download on our Bandcamp Site. A special edition 180 gram vinyl will follow. Produced by Buck Johnson and the Hootenanny Kid and recorded in New Orleans over a five year period at Piety St. Studios, The Music Shed and Loyola University, “Accordion Anthology” features a new accordion-based arrangement of one song from each of DBRS’s past studio albums, intertwined with new, unheard, unreleased material.

To accompany its release we will be performing a special live show on NYE at the Maison on Frenchmen St in New Orleans – We’ll hit at 10pm and play until the New Year comes. Following a special ball dropping countdown ceremony, guests to follow include fellow New Orleanian gypsy stomp mafia band Debauche and annual host DJ Jubilee. 3 Dirty Bourbon River Show To Play The 2013 Radio & Television Correspondents Dinner
It’s official! This June we’ll be performing at the 2013 Radio & Television Correspondents Dinner in Washington. The event is traditionally attended by the President of the United States and will be broadcast nationally on CSPAN. This is a huge honor and we are looking forward to getting spiffy and representing New Orleans in the best way possible.
We also have a whole bunch of new showdates posted on the left side bar as well <— check ’em out, tons of new ones, including a Lundi Gras party with New Orleans’ own Soul Rebels at the Blue Nile on February 11th.
Headed to Piety Studio in the Bywater tomorrow to begin recording Volume IV – stay tuned!

0 Wolfman Video Shoot
We have been really busy these last few days, filming the Wolfman video and preparing to go back into the studio to lay down a couple of tracks. It’s going to be a while before the finished products come out so here is a little clip from the first day of the Wolfman shoot.

Day 2 is finished. 6 songs in 12 hours. Not too shabby, but we still have work to do. Time to head back to the studio.

We have begun our sessions at The Music Shed. With the help of a Mr. Ben Lorio and a Mr. Billy Moesta, your Dirty Bourbon boys are cooking up some tasty tunes for yall to enjoy. The Dirty Bourbon River Show discusses the New Radiohead Album Being Released This Saturday
Finally, after 3 1/2 years of waiting, Radiohead will be releasing their 8th full-length studio album this Satuday
Unlike their last album In Rainbows (which is in my opinion their best so far, followed by Ok Computer) fans will not be able to name their own price this time. The new album – titled The King of Limbs – will be available in a variety of priced formats, ranging from $53 for 2 vinyls, cd, artwork & more to $9 for an mp3 digidownload. One lucky buyer will win a signed 2 track vinyl. Fans can view the different price formats and pre-order HERE.
I guess the real question is “will The King of Limbs be as good as In Rainbows?” I guess we’ll find out this Saturday.
