0 Big, Big Summer Tour Announcement!

Ladies and Gentlemen,

It has been a strange and wonderful adventure thus far in the Dirty Bourbon River Show! So much has happened and there is so little space and time with which to explain it all.

When we last left off, our heroes had just flown across the world for what would be a most victorious trip overseas. The band, trimmed down to just a 4piece, performed in some of the coolest and most absolutely beautiful places that the Swiss region had to offer. To quote Bill Murray, “We came, we saw, and we kicked it’s ass!” But seriously folks, it was an amazing feeling to not only be so well received but to also be so well taken care of. We truly couldn’t have done it all without the help of some very special people out there – you know who you are! Each night we were surrounded by good vibes with delicious food in our bellies and comfortable beds to rest our weary heads! Needless to say, we’re already working on return plans for next year!! Stay tuned!

DBRS 2569 Now that we are back home though folks, it is time to move forward and embrace the many changes that life brings. With that we must say farewell to one friend and welcome another. Our recent guest vocalist and dance machine Ms. Sandra Love will be stepping off the Dirty Bourbon train and a one Mr. Nick Garrison will climbing aboard. Nick is a tremendous trombonist and really just an all around cool dude. We enjoy his playing and his company and are sure you will too. As for Ms Love, well first we want to express how grateful we are for all the good times and the great times! She’ll be dancing and singing herself crazy down here in New Orleans. If you come visit, maybe look her up!

BUT WAIT!!!! THERE’S MORE!!

Lots more in fact, for we have a BIG SUMMER TOUR in the works! A summer filled with two months of nonstop Dirty Bourbon music and revelry! Big festivals, bacon festivals, and more and more club dates being booked everyday! Yes folks we’ve got a BIG SUMMER TOUR planned that’ll take us back to familiar territory and unfamiliar too! North Carolina, Colorado, Michigan, and Wyoming to name a few! We’ve already posted some of our dates so check the calendar and start spreading the word!!

The construction was pounding outside. Because of everybody’s schedules, we only had an hour total to set up and execute the shoot. Despite layer after of layer of tape, Noah’s accordion still kept leaking air violently. And we only did one single take, on a single Shure microphone. Here is our product:

2 20 New Showdates Added!

2016 is fast approaching folks! As many of you know, this NYE we’re headed up to D.C. to open up for Mr. Charles Bradley! And then, we have a big, big year ahead of us!…

This January we’re going on an Arctic Expedition with Mr. Pickles! Just who is Mr. Pickles and why is he here? Here is a video explaining everything:

It’s going to be a really exciting adventure through many of North America’s infamous NE winter wonderlands, culminating with a big brass bash at the Brooklyn Bowl on January 26th with our dear friends PitckBlak Brass Band!

Then, it’s back home for Mardi Gras in New Orleans! Many exciting shows, including Endymion and Lundi Gras bashes with our dear friends Sweet Crude and Soul Rebels!

Then, it’s off to Europe! So many exciting things! See you at the show!

Up up and away we go! Where we’ll stop, nobody knows!

Hey errybody! Words can’t even describe how amazing the winter weather is down here in Florida… so I won’t even bother trying. Instead, here’s some snapshots of our time spent thus far in what is certainly one of the most unique states in the union:

I picked this album up in Fort Wayne, IN at The Wooden Nickel last week for under a buck, and have listened to it a few times since we’ve been back home. I hadn’t listened to much Nancy Wilson before, and as soon as I saw the cover I knew I had no reason not be buy it. Needles to say it’s definitely becoming a favorite. Hope y’all enjoy!

Tonight we’re playing in New Orleans and rocking the walls at The Maison on Frenchmen St. – Charles Bronson style – from 10 to Midnight! It’s a free show too so come on out and spend your Friday with us!
