Today is the final day folks. Less than 18 hrs to go on our Kickstarter campaign. Now – more than any other time – is the time for you to step up and become a part of this awesome project! We’ve poured so much love into writing, drafting and demoing these songs, selecting the perfect producer and professional studio, putting all our cards on the line for this new album – join us! Let’s do it together! Whether it’s $500 or just $5, do what you can, and together let’s make the dopest album ever – let’s break DBRS into the mainstream – and without the help of nefarious record companies and industry hacks telling us what to do. Between the five members of the Dirty Bourbon River Show, we listen to a veritable cornucopia of musical styles and genres. From Dethklok to Duke Ellington we listen to it all.
Calypso music is the perfect way to brighten up any rainy day, and it’s been raining all week. So here’s a song that always brings a smile to my lips, and puts a sway In my hips. Originally written by Lord Melody in the early 60’s, this is a tale of love, family…..and unbridled adultery.

It went on to be recorded by numerous artist throughout the years, and is still one of the best examples if storytelling through song I’ve ever heard. Not to mention it is a laugh riot!

Also!…If your in the West Virginia area, make sure you come out to the Shepherdstown Opera House tonight! Music kicks off around 8:00pm. It’s gonna be a partay.

Logan hails from Berryville, VA, and will be joining us as Band Consigliere. He is a honed jack-of-all-trades, and knows how to use a sword. Look out America.

In other news, whole bunch of new tour dates posted on the left sidebar. Kicking off April on the 6th w/ a free show at Loyola, leading up to Jazzfest on the 27th – Closing out the Lagniappe Stage at 5:25pm on the Clapton day. Super excited for that one.
