Since recording finished up last week, we have been hard at work building sets and shooting a new music video for Crankshaft. It should be out in a couple of weeks. We have been pretty productive since we got back home but it’s time to get back on the road.
What’s going on with the Dirty Bourbon boys as of late? 3 main things:
The Most Peculiar Thing – our 6th studio album – will be released on 12.21.12 and be free one day only on our Bandcamp Site and at our CD release show at the Blue Nile in New Orleans. Catch a little teaser of the new songs in Atlanta this Thursday at the Earl.
The Wolfman Music Video – hopefully you’ve seen this by now. Please take a moment to spread this link -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nY58VG0laBw <-around to a few peeps you know – via facebook, twitter, your blog, or, most importantly, fancy music industry cats & publications you know. The video currently has 4,011 views and we’re trying to make it to 5,000 views before the 21st when The Most Peculiar Thing drops and the Volume Three album cycle is over. Let the world know! This is a video we feel very strongly about & want as many people to enjoy it as possible!
Happy Hollidays y’al!
P.S. Tons of new 2013 showdates added – check em out on the left sidebar <- !
That’s right folks, in our tradition of giving you 2 albums a year, it’s that time again… Ladies and gentlemen, it is our proudest of pleasures to present to you our 6th studio album: The Most Peculiar Thing. And for one day & one day only – 12.21.2012 – this album will be made free for the world.
On this day – when Mayan calenders predict the world will be ending – put the url “dbrs.bandcamp.com” into your browser and download this new album for free! No strings attached! Just good ole fashioned music!
Live in New Orleans? Even better: Come grab a free copy of the album in person – We’ll be playing a CD release party w/ Magnetic Ear at the Blue Nile on Frenchmen Street at 11pm. There’s a Facebook event for it HERE if you would like to rvsp & stay posted with release details.
