So another Voodoo has come and gone, and this year was particularly amazing. We got to kick off the main stage on Sunday, shoot fire out of the sousaphone, and make friends with the amazing artists, staff, and volunteers. Here are some pics in case you missed out.

We decided that white tuxedos were a must for this year. Thank you to John’s Tuxedos in Metarie for hooking us up.

The crowd loved the accordion. But then, again who doesn’t?

They loved seeing Jimmy shoot fire out of the sousaphone even more.

We loved it too.

All in all a good day for all involved. Thank you so much Voodoo Fest for bringing us back a second year in a row. We had a blast and we hope hope you did too.

I found these guys on late night public access TV in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. They were playing a show in Nashville and opening up for legends of rock The Who. I watched for an hour as lead singer Ty Taylor spit gospel and soul, as the band pumped out good old fashion Rock and Roll. I was thoroughly impressed….see what you think.

As for Dirty Bourbon River Show, were on our way to Nashville to play the 5 Spot tonight. So if your anywhere close come on down and party with us! Show starts around 9:30.

0 Mulberry Mountain’s Harvest Music Festival

We’re excited to be starting this little October tour of ours at the Harvest Music Festival in Ozark, Arkansas. The weather is perfect and the lineup is full of talented acts from all over. We’ll be hitting the Woodchuck Cider Backwoods Stage at 5 today, so make sure you got your dancing shoes on before sundown.

0 Halloween in New Orleans and Voodoo Fest

Halloween in New Orleans is always a big deal. Here we have so many cultures from catholic to voodoo that we have some of the freakiest fun possible on the planet.

Sometimes we have too much fun.

This year we are honored to be playing Halloween night at Maison on Frenchmen St. in the French Quarter. We will be hitting the stage at 12:30am. So come all costumed up for a bourbon fueled night of masqueraded mischief. Now we just have to find costumes.

We will also be playing Voodoo Fest on the Ritual Stage, Nov. 2nd at 12:15pm to close out our weekend. That’s right. That’s the same day and stage as the Foo Fighters. So if you haven’t gotten your tickets yet, click on the image below and make sure you get to join us for our favorite weekend every single year. We will be wandering around the City Park grounds trying to soak up as much of the musical glory as possible, and we recommend you do too.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Ah… and so ends yet another wonderful tour across our beautiful country! It just keeps on getting better and better, with ever more to see and experience, but fear not! The end of one adventure is only the beginning of another! There are exciting things on the horizon for yours truly, including the upcoming studio sessions for Important Things Humans Should Know (which is bound to be rife with historic DBRS footage), New Orleans’ own Voodoo Experience, and a Halloween party to get you into all sorts of trouble!!!… but I digress.

Tonight, we continue our little tour up the coast as we hit our northernmost point on this run – Fairhope, Pennsylvania – at the beautiful Bucks County Playhouse! The show kicks off at 8 pm sharp for an evening with yours truly. Come see us for one of our last shows before we hit the studio!
