The album will be released worldwide on April 7th, 2015 via our website, iTunes, Bandcamp, Spotify, Amazon, blah blah blah, and all those other hunky dory little download & stream sites. Additionally, we’ll be having a hometown release party on April 4th at DBA on Frenchmen if you want to come grab a physical copy early.

Can’t make it to New Orleans?

Don’t you worry, we’ll be doing a 4 month national tour to follow. We just posted 16 new dates on our sidebar, with many more pouring in everyday! Don’t see your city there yet? Don’t worry, we’re coming for ya!… Also, on or before the album’s release, our wonderful Kickstarter donors should be receiving their sweet gift packages in the mail. Again, so so so much thanks to everyone who made this project possible – we wouldn’t have been able to make it this dope without you.

0 2015: Big Year for DBRS

Did you party hardy last night? Did you laugh, cry, kiss an ugly stranger, fall off something, and/or make a bunch of impractical resolutions you’re sure to break within a week? If you’re like the rest of the world, you did. 2014 is gone now ladies and gents and it’s time to start tackling this beast they call 2015. So… what’s in store for Dirty Bourbon?

First off, we just posted 15 new dates to our sidebar. One important one to take note of is at 9pm on January 12th we’ll be playing Rockwood Music Hall in Manhattan as part of the APAP global music industry conference. Check this one out if your in the big apple that night – a lot of good bands courtesy of our wonderful agent Prater Day.

Also, on January 7th (one week) we’ll be adding a whole bunch more dates and releasing some sweet juicy details about out next upcoming album (including art, track list, exact release date, tour schedule, and more) so make sure and stay posted for that one as well.

Additionally, Noah’s beard is half a year old now… it’s getting a little out of control as of late… and he’s still got nine and a half years left to go on that puppy. Sometimes, we wonder if Noah is loosing his mind. Speaking of which, he just finished a short film entitled: “Life, Briefly.” Check it out:

0 Ending in Ft. Myers

It’s been a great run this month in the Southeast! We’ve played some terrific shows and met some wonderful people, and tonight we’ll finish this December tour, and the year, off in Ft Myers, Florida!!

Come join us tonight at Point Ybel Brewing Company for an evening of Holiday Magic! That’s right folks we’ll be guiding that jolly ol’ habitual trespasser Santa and his 8 or 9 (I can’t remember) crazy reindeer with the best in Christmas classics!. Everything from Johnny Mathis to Alvin and those annoying, demon-like chipmunk brothers of his. Bald Charlie Brown’s Christmas favorites are sure to drop by too.. And why stop there, it’s almost freaking Christmas after all… We’re also gonna be performing all of Dr. Suess’ “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”.. In MANDARIN!!! Yes folks you don’t wanna miss this!!

Ladies and gentlemen,

Remember this guy? Yeah, this show happened for one season back in 2003, and it’s got some pretty good moments. Learn the true meaning of the word “try.” Have some crazy with your coffee today. You’re welcome.

On another note, today we continue along the Florida coast to Fort Lauderdale’s own Kreepy Tiki Tattoos & Boutique/Monterey Club! We’ll be joined by The Zoo Peculiar and Scarecrow Jenkins Jamboree for a night of music and mayhem that kicks off at 10 pm. Get out and make the hang!

Until then, I think we’ll go do the beach thing. Because we’re in South Florida, and it’s always summer here. Be jealous.

After an extremely refreshing two days off in the beautiful, sunny Orlando, Dirty Bourbon is headed to Lakeland To rock Tony’s Studio B tonight. If your anywhere within a 100 mile radius come out at 8pm to 213 East Bay Street and bring your dancing shoes! If you can’t make it…..here’s an extremely entertaining video of three music legends battling it out for one crowd.

It’s time for another installment of… BBR!!!

Louis and the Dukes of Dixieland!!

I’ve been collecting the Dukes for a little while, so far I’ve got 5 of their records, and all are fantastic!!

For those that don’t know, the Dukes of Dixieland are actually the first artists to be recorded on stereo! Their recordings and performances helped revive traditional and Dixieland jazz music around the nation, and a huge credit is owed to the Assunto Family!

This record is nothing short of amazing, with Louis Armstrong sounding perfect as always! Among the highlights are their versions of “Avalon,” “Limehouse Blues,” “Bourbon Street Parade” and an absolutely beautiful version of “Just a Closer Walk with Thee.”

We’re excited to be back in Orlando and at Will’s Pub tonight with a sack of new tunes and a little swag in us after a late night in Deland! Joining us tonight is Howling Midnight, a local psychedelic blues outfit. The beat drops around 10!!

Come celebrate Beard Awareness Month tonight at Cafe Davinci in Deland, FL. It was here that Noah once won the Most Authentic Mustache award in 2012 upon their 1st visit to Deland, and now – two and a half years later – it is here that the Dirty Bourbon River Show will be returning in triumphant beardage to rock the mother rubbin’ party with some of the nastiest dance moves you have ever seen yo. Sets at 10:30 and Midnight. This shit is fo real son.
