What a crazy day it’s been St. Louis. This weekend, crackheads broke into our van and stole Noah’s accordion & handmade accordion case, our Yeti GPS, and all of Matt’s clothing. WTF?
We immediately scoured all the surrounding pawnshops & 2nd hand music stores – and strangely enough – we found the accordion had been pawned at a local music shop. We have now recovered the accordion, but what has not been recovered (& probably never will be) is the case, the GPS, and all of Matt’s clothing – his suits, his vests, his pants, his ties – even his skibbies – which totals to over $1,000 in loss (not including the skibbies).
And this really sucks. We are full-time touring musicians, and barely make enough as it is…
Want to help? Click the donation button below, and kick in a dollar, a hundred, or if you’re feeling frisky, a $1000 – whatever you have helps – if you’re broke like us don’t worry about it – just tell a rich person instead
Much love – & please don’t smoke crack
Wow. That really sucks. Glad you got the acccordian back.
Here I was, all worried about you all going out there where all the tornados were/are, and you had your stuff stolen. Dirty SOBs. I’m so sorry. I’ll send you some lovin’ hugs and say a prayer for you. Bless you all.
We sent yall some $$$ for skibbies!!! We can’t have that poor man going commando!!!
Sorry to hear you got robbed in St. Louis. I used to be in trucking and stopped sending my trucks there because it got so bad.
Glad you at least were able to recover the accordion. We are curious to know if you had to buy the accordion back or if, because it was stolen and hocked, the police could help you out in getting it back for nothing.
Wanted you to know that the donation I sent for replacements was from both me and my son, DJ.
Looking forward to seeing you all and Matt in his new attire at The Barnes come September.
Slainte!
