Two weeks after blazing a trail across Louisiana and Texas, Dirty Bourbon headlines tonight (5/21) at Cafe Prytania in a night that is sure to be filled with some hijinks that will knock your socks off an shit. With us will be Fuzzy and the Shopping Carts, fresh off their selection to the Windsor Court’s Top 140 New Orleans characters, a full list of which you can check out at KissMyGumbo. Also joining in the revelry will be DeBauche, local Ukrainian folksters and purveyors of wild times, the night is sure to be a wafty night of whimsy clouded by the booze and the bar’s smoky haze.

Tonight we will also be a send off for a month to our bassman, Jimmy Williams, as he travels to France with his sensational brass band Booty Trove so that they can cut a record. Wish them well if you catch them and keep your eyes peeled for that record when it drops, it’s sure to be a gem. Fret not for Jimmy will be safely back holding down that funky bass line by mid June.
