0 Tonight at the Nantahala Gorge!
Ever heard of the ICF Canoe Freestyle World Championships? In a nutshell, it’s the ultimate whitewater event featuring top freestyle athletes from around the world, and it’s happening at the Nantahala Gorge outside of Bryson City, NC.
Tonight marks the end of this years event with an awards ceremony followed by live music from yours truly. We’ll be hitting the upbeat at 8 pm and playing as long the crowd can stand. Last year turned into a damn good party too, can’t wait to do it again tonight.
0 Kicking off in Athens, GA
Tonight, yes tonight, that is the night of the 7th of August tonight, yours truly will be kicking off our Fall 2013 tour in the peachy Athens, GA.
It will be “An evening with the Dirty Bourbon River Show at The Melting Point.”
The doors will open at 6 pm and the band will strike up shortly afterward.
We are very excited to get back to it for idle hands do the devil’s work. And as a tribute to a man whose hands never slowed down, here’s a video of the late, amazingly great George Duke.

Just finished writing/arranging Volume IV. Next steps: Reherse, then record…
It will probably be the last of the Volumes, and will probably be released sometime around spring of next year.
Can’t wait till then? No worries, ’cause our 6th record – The Most Peculiar Thing – will be out this December!
Just added a bunch of new tour dates to the sidebar too – got over 30 new upcoming fall shows posted now, spread the word…
… the most important of them all being the Tipitina’s show on Saturday, August 18th, with the Tin Men opening!
Man, we cannot wait for this one…
