What’s going on with the Dirty Bourbon boys as of late? 3 main things:

One

J100The Most Peculiar Thing – our 6th studio album – will be released on 12.21.12 and be free one day only on our Bandcamp Site and at our CD release show at the Blue Nile in New Orleans. Catch a little teaser of the new songs in Atlanta this Thursday at the Earl.

Two

The Wolfman Music Video – hopefully you’ve seen this by now. Please take a moment to spread this link -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nY58VG0laBw <-around to a few peeps you know – via facebook, twitter, your blog, or, most importantly, fancy music industry cats & publications you know. The video currently has 4,011 views and we’re trying to make it to 5,000 views before the 21st when The Most Peculiar Thing drops and the Volume Three album cycle is over. Let the world know! This is a video we feel very strongly about & want as many people to enjoy it as possible!

Three

noahs kickstarterNoah recently launched a Kickstarter project to help further his infamous accordion boxerpants meditations. It’s pretty friggin’ ridiculous – check it out HERE.

Happy Hollidays y’al!

Much Love,

DBRS

P.S. Tons of new 2013 showdates added – check em out on the left sidebar <- !

Google's new networking site "+" crosses swords with the facebook

Lookout Facebook: Google recently launched a new test version of their own social networking site – Google+. Currently available by invite-only (thanks Brad of Gypsy Space Caravan for the heads up), Google is currently ironing out the kinks and preparing for a full public launch. One has to wonder – just as Myspace finally met its day, will Facebook too soon be swept under the rug? With recent issues of privacy within Facebook and a ADD-like world consciousness, will Google+ be the next big thing? Search engines, Gmail, maps, docs – they do pretty good with these… but just how good is Google+?

Here’s a little review:

We here at D.B.R.L.L.C. got a lot of cool stuff coming up this 2011 – but why don’t you enjoy some free music in the meantime?:~

Check out our facebook here and if you hit the “like” button and post “I want my shit” on our wall w/ your email we’ll send you a free mp3 from our new, unreleased album, Vol II…

The mp3 is a track called “From Time to Time” written by our dear friend Jacob Anderson of Portland, OR’s the Bell Boys, who will be visiting us here in NOLA this march. Look for it…

Jacob Anderson - genuine bonafide bullet spittin' songwritin' beast of a man
