New Orleans Big Brass Circus Rock Music
After a some much loved time off, we’re getting back on the road for a little run through the South (we’re trying to get as much Sun as we can before January..)
Up first… You guessed it – Jackson, Mississippi!!
C’mon out to the Iron Horse Grill to spend an evening with yours truly! We’ll be playing 3 sets tonight from 9 to 12, so make sure you get there with enough to get some grub and a brew or two!

Yup, that’s right folks! The Dirty Bourbon River Show is coming to Knoxville tonight! Get your dancing shoes on ’cause we’re hitting the stage at Barley’s Taproom at 10pm for 2 sets of pure unadulterated wildness. Come get some.
After two months on the road we are officially home!
Tonight we celebrate our return by playing a show at the best neighborhood bar in Alabama with the best burgers in the country.
So if your in the gulf and looking for good music and great food, stop in to Callaghan’s Irish Social Club and have your fill of both! Show starts at 7:30ish, two sets.
then after the show we will drive back to the Crescent city to sleep in our own beds!

It’s good to be back in good ol’ Winchester, VA, and boy are we excited to wrap up this Summer Tour with our Vaudeville Revue at the always lively Bright Box. Tonight’s entertainment is sure to be an unforgettable experience with comedy, burlesque, and hip-shaking good music!

This week we will take a look at one of my favorite recording artists – Herb Alpert’s Tijuana Brass.
With over 72 million albums sold worldwide, Alpert’s musical accomplishments include five No. 1 albums, nine Grammy awards, fourteen platinum albums, and fifteen gold albums. He is the only recording artist to hit No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 pop chart as both a vocalist and an instrumentalist.
It is a personal mission of mine to collect all of the Herb Alpert and Tijuana Brass albums, and so far I have 11 out of 24 albums. His music puts me in a good place, and I hope it does the same fore you!
