Day two is over! We made some more progress and knocked out a few new tunes. Things are looking good.

The first day of recording is over! The day went pretty well and we got a lot of work done. Not a bad start.
3 Dirty Bourbon River Show To Play The 2013 Radio & Television Correspondents Dinner
It’s official! This June we’ll be performing at the 2013 Radio & Television Correspondents Dinner in Washington. The event is traditionally attended by the President of the United States and will be broadcast nationally on CSPAN. This is a huge honor and we are looking forward to getting spiffy and representing New Orleans in the best way possible.
We also have a whole bunch of new showdates posted on the left side bar as well <— check ’em out, tons of new ones, including a Lundi Gras party with New Orleans’ own Soul Rebels at the Blue Nile on February 11th.
Headed to Piety Studio in the Bywater tomorrow to begin recording Volume IV – stay tuned!
4 Bringing in the New Year
Unfortunately we are away from home for the holidays but luckily we get to start the new year off right with our friends in Bristol, Tennessee! Come join us at 620 State and help us bring in the new year. Show starts at 10.

We’re finally getting back into the swing of things after the holidays with our show at Boyd’s Jig and Reel in Knoxville, TN. Show starts at 10 and we go all night. Come and have a Guinness with us!

Tonight we finally head back to Atlanta. We’ll be opening up for, Atlanta’s own, Abbey Wren at her cd release party at The Earl! Show starts at 9 with Norman Frank, Dirty Bourbon at 10 and Abbey will close out the night.

The Most Peculiar Thing – our 6th studio album – will be released on 12.21.12 and be free one day only on our Bandcamp Site and at our CD release show at the Blue Nile in New Orleans. Catch a little teaser of the new songs in Atlanta this Thursday at the Earl.
