0 Kickstarter Launch – Help us fund our new album!

We’ve been keeping our lips sealed about this for quite some time now, and are super excited to finally announce the big news: today we’re launching a Kickstarter funding campaign to help produce our brand new studio album (coming in the spring of 2015)! Producing a top-notch record is a very costly endeavor. We want the end result to be something of true quality and as special as our fans are to us. 0 Free Festival in New Orleans Today!

Come one, come all, to new free festival called Fools of April. Hosted by Loyola University & Crescent City Radio, the event will take place in the West Road Parking Garage on Loyola’s main campus. There’s plenty of beer, food, & awesome student bands, with Dirty Bourbon closing out the event at 6:20pm. Come get down on this awesome grub, drank & musica!

1 The Bright Box Theater!!

Back in good ol’ Winchester, Virginia!! Folks this weekend is going to be jammed pack full of all things Dirty Bourbon! Not only will we be performing two nights at The Bright Box Theater, but we will also be filming for a new music video between the two sets we’ll be performing!! This video has been 4 months in the making, and this weekend will finally bring it all to an end, so don’t miss out on a chance to be a part of it, Winchester!!

But that’s not all, the wonderful folks with Dancing Beagle Productions have also arranged for some beautiful burlesque, fire, alcohol, food, beads, masks and many more surprises!! Yours truly will also be sharing the stage with local rockers – Terry Oates & The Mudcats – and local swingers – Laissez Foure!! It’s all happening this weekend at The Bright Box Theater!! Tonight is gonna get wild in Chapel Hill! Yours truly will be performing with our good friend Ellis Dyson & The Shambles at the always crazy Local 506! Doors will open at 8 PM and The Shambles will kick it off at 9 PM!! Dirty Bourbon will take the stage afterwards, supplying the masses with our high-energy, carnival-brass, rock n’ roll!! It’s gonna be a wild and whiskey soaked night, don’t miss out!!

1 DBRS Returns to ATL at the Star Bar!

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Tonight is our grand return to Atlanta as we take the stage at Little Five Points’ own Star Community Bar! It’s been a while, ATL, so we’ll need your help to muster all the wild, booty-shakin, good-time-havin energy you know a solid DBRS show can generate. The doors open at 9 pm, the show kicks off around 10, and tickets are only $7 at the door. Be there tonight, and we’ll make hump day into the biggest party of the week!

Now that Mardi Gras has come to an end in New Orleans it’s time for us to be getting back to business, and this month of tour dates is jam packed with high-energy, whiskey soaked good times.

We’re excited to be kicking off at the Gasparilla Music Festival in Tampa, FL. Yours truly will be part of a weekend filled with hip-shaking, foot-stomping music and delicious food served up from some of Tampa’s finest restaurants. Artists including Trombone Shorty, The Flaming Lips, Anders Osborne, The Hackensaw Boys, and Soul Rebels, among many others, will be setting fire to the stage, and it’s all happening at Curtis Hixon Riverfront Park and Kiley Gardens Park this weekend!! Don’t miss out on damn good time Tampa!!

2 Dirty Bourbon River Show Is Releasing a Free Full-Length Digital Album Tomorrow! Preview It Now!

That’s right folks! You read it correctly! DBRS is releasing a free full-length album tomorrow! The album will be made available exclusively on our dbrs.bandcamp.com site for free (or, leave behind a little gift if you want! hint hint!) for the next 30 days. A limited edition hand-signed 180 gram vinyl will follow in the spring. Also, to celebrate, we’ll be playing a special New Years Eve show at the Maison on Frenchmen Street in New Orleans tomorrow night at 10pm.
