It’s been a while, but tonight we return to Greensboro’s own Blind Tiger for this month’s final show in North Carolina! We’re headed way north from here, so come and get your fix in one of the state’s finest venues tonight!
The Scorchin’ Sons will be kicking things off at 10, but the doors open at 8 so you can come say hey and grab a drink before things get crazy. Tickets are $8 at the door. We’ll see you there!
Tonight, yes tonight, that is the night of the 7th of August tonight, yours truly will be kicking off our Fall 2013 tour in the peachy Athens, GA.
It will be “An evening with the Dirty Bourbon River Show at The Melting Point.”
The doors will open at 6 pm and the band will strike up shortly afterward.
We are very excited to get back to it for idle hands do the devil’s work. And as a tribute to a man whose hands never slowed down, here’s a video of the late, amazingly great George Duke.
It’s here at last, the final show of the tour! Ladies and gentlemen, tonight we return to Houston for the first time in years to rock the halls of the Continental Club in Houston, TX! The Bluebonnets featuring Kathy Valentine will be kicking things off at 10 pm, and we hit the stage around 11 pm. Don’t miss out, because we won’t be holding back tonight. We head home tomorrow!
Happy 4th of July! We are spending the 4th in the most American way possible, by exploring uncharted territory! Join us for our first show in Arizona, at Hotel Monte Vista in Flagstaff! Show starts around 9.

We’ve had a lot of new experiences on this tour so far, good ones and bad ones. So as it is good to always be tested, we must now strategize on how to repair our recently disfigured vehicle.
On our drive from Utah to Colorado, feeling high and happy about our first conquest into new territory with new stories about new friends, a deer decided it was time for us to have a nice slice of shit pie…. Our van is beaten and torn, but thanks to skilled driving, a cool head, and one badass piece of man-made machinery there’s still 5 members of the Dirty Bourbon River Show, 15 instruments, and a collective spirit that can’t be broken.

So we have much to figure out as we recharge in Durango, CO. Charlie’s 23rd birthday is tomorrow, wish him a happy one folks. Our next show is in Flagstaff, AZ on our nation’s day of Independence. A time of celebration is at hand – we are safe and sound with no plans of slowing down (metaphorically, that is).
What happens when your bass drum pedal suddenly and violently breaks on the first song of a set? You MacGyver it back together using nothing but three rubber bands, a paper clip, two strips of gaff tape and then play the rest of the show like nothing ever happened. Rock and Roll.
