Last night while en route to the Holy Ghost compound we ran over a deer. Mind you the deer had already been struck down by some long gone assaliant, we still ran over its carcass at about 70 mph. There is now deer hair on our wheels and a new whine from the engine, particularly when going up hill.
Now, after waking to a wonderful feast of biscuits and gravy with loaded scrambeled eggs prepared by Jaime Coggins and Kim (again thank you!) we have set off safely for New Bern for our next stop on this jaunt up along the mid-Atlantic coast. Along the way, we encountered a radio station that played ‘Ghostbusters’ by Ray Parker Jr, ‘Superstitious’ by Stevie Wonder, ‘Thriller’ by Micheal Jackson, and ‘Monster Mash’ in that order. We were pleased.
Thank you to everyone who came out last night in Roanoke, we will be back soon!

Big up to Vince’s mom for showing me them last year. Good stuff. Show’ll probably sell out 1st hour or so; I think they’ve already presold over 1000 tickets. God only knows what kind of hippie shenanigans I’ll face tonight. Could be good. Less find out…
