Day two is over! We made some more progress and knocked out a few new tunes. Things are looking good.
Hello folks! Sorry for the lack of updates. We have been real busy. Over the last couple of weeks, we have been hard at work, rehearsing new tunes and polishing old ones. We can’t wait to get back on the road and play our new songs for you guys. See you soon.
P.S. Gig at Tipitina’s on the 18th with the Tin Men!
Strange instruments played by strange gentlemen
Slyfox serenades the circuits
We found this Digi-sax in an abandoned radio station, Slyfox took quite a liking to the abomination. Feasting on room temperature wine and sifting through a long forgotten record collection, we all laughed and recalled epic journeys of video games past.
Jimmy plays the Stroh Violin
We found this piece of musical history in Knoxville, Tennesee on the collectors wall of the Morelock Music shop. Watch as Jimmy tries his hand at taming the phonic beast.
Dear Good People,
It’s that time again. Packin’ up the van, rolling up the warm clothes & sleeping bags, tunin’ up the instruments, getting the fingergloves ready to set off… Here we go… Winter 2012 tour ~ Coming to a city near you… check the sidebar for showdates… more to be added throughout the week… kicking off in St. Augustine, FL at Jack’s BBQ tomorrow night… catch you in a corner of America soon… till then, keep your eyes and ears open
P.S. Don’t forget to tell a folk or too about our Van Fundraiser. Our van is fucking freezing – no insulation, no heat!
We have begun our sessions at The Music Shed. With the help of a Mr. Ben Lorio and a Mr. Billy Moesta, your Dirty Bourbon boys are cooking up some tasty tunes for yall to enjoy. And as an appetizer, we will begin posting up some pictures and footage of yours truly as we continue to work and record, so keep your eyes and ears open. Until next time…
Stay Patient. Stay Dirty.
For our last day in Colorado we decided to hike up to Inspiration Point, an 11,200 foot mountain on the outskirts of Creede. Once we got up there, we caught our breath and blasted some brass band music over the entire town. Colorado is a beautiful and wonderful place. We are sad to be leaving but we will definitely be back. Thank you Colorado!
