Noah would like to tell you all something about his guitar:
“This is my guitar. I have played her on the road for years. She earns my bread, keeps me clothed, keeps me fed, makes people dance, makes people happy. She is my baby.
“I am fortunate enough to spend my life playing this guitar with an amazing band some of you may have heard of – the Dirty Bourbon River Show. My band and I are currently trying to raise funds to record our next album, and we are way way behind… we have less than 10 days to raise $6,000, or we won’t meet our 10k goal, and wont get any of our funding….
“And so, to the next person out there that donates $1,000 to our project and brings us up to 50% funded, I will give you my guitar. Straight up. I’ll even clean her up, put some more dope-ass parts in, set her up, and string/tune her to your preferred action / gauge / etc and then you can have my baby. I’ve played her full time for over 3 years. And now, I want her to go to a good home.
It is time for yet another chapter in the rich and ever-transforming history of the Dirty Bourbon River Show. On December 31st, 2013 we will be releasing our 8th studio album - “Accordion Anthology” – via digital download on our Bandcamp Site. A special edition 180 gram vinyl will follow. Produced by Buck Johnson and the Hootenanny Kid and recorded in New Orleans over a five year period at Piety St. Studios, The Music Shed and Loyola University, “Accordion Anthology” features a new accordion-based arrangement of one song from each of DBRS’s past studio albums, intertwined with new, unheard, unreleased material.

Following a special ball dropping countdown ceremony, guests to follow include fellow New Orleanian gypsy stomp mafia band Debauche and annual host DJ Jubilee. Fulfilling our promise of releasing 2 LP’s a year for our 1st four years as a band, this 8th studio album and the accompanying live show at the Maison marks yet another great achievement in the history of the Dirty Bourbon River Show. We can’t wait to share it with you. Ad Astera per Apera.
Oh No! Noah’ s thinking of quitting the band and starting a solo career… he wants to give everything he worked so hard for up and start making god awful R&B music about his romantic woes and anatomical problems. Here is a sample of the kind of crap he wants to start making:
Please discourage him from quitting the band and embarking on a solo career in the comments section above – It is just a plain bad idea and he needs to be told so. Thank you.
